The Peanut Butter Falcon * * * *

       Here's a film you're going to love..... unless there is something seriously wrong with you.
       It's a bit of a road movie, bit of hike movie, and a bit of a sail down the river in a raft movie, topped off with some fine backyard wrestling.

Eleanor, Zak & Tyler Sailing to success

      Zac is a young man with downs syndrome.  Due to lack of proper available care he is being "looked after" at a geriatric nursing home. His nurse is actually very caring, but she is limited in what she can do for him.  Zak decides to escape.
      Meanwhile we meet Tyler who is a bit of a loner since his brother died  He's had a falling out with some other fishermen, so he burns their stuff and goes on the run.  Now they're after him.
     Tyler and Zak meet up and form a friendship.  All Zak wants to do is go south and find Saltwater Redneck and join his wrestling school. Tyler agrees to help him get there, if  Zak agrees to eave him alone after that.
      Back at the nursing home, Nurse Eleanor is in serious trouble since her charge went missing and she is told to get in the van and go find him.    After some detective work she eventually catches up with Zak but also has to deal with the wreck of Tyler.
      The joy for us is watching these three get along. The most unlikely, endearing, quirkiest collection of friends.  Got to love em.
