Bombshell * *
I'd heard about this film but I had no idea who these people are. I later figured they are big time TV presenters in the USA. I don't watch TV News in Australia, never mind TV News from America, so to me they were all anonymous characters, which is a good thing as it strips away everything except the story, which is about three women dealing with the head of a TV News network and his lascivious ways.
The women who worked with him were frequently subjected to inappropriate sexual harassment.
But it's a dull story, with thoroughly unattractive characters on both sides, rather badly told with glib smug dialogue and fast editing and a bit of an opportunity to be lascivious ourselves. It stars some big names who should all know better when selecting a script.
If you want to see a worthy and more intelligent film on sexual harassment in the work place go check out the far superior and tragically overlooked Working Woman.
