Entourage * *

Me no understand.   Later I find out why.  I naively went to see this thinking it’s just a film called Entourage - generally I like to walk into the cinema with a clean slate.  Apparently it’s the film of the television series.  So if you’re a fan of that you might enjoy this.
I get the impression that it’s about an up and coming movie star who is so loyal to his friends (Bro's) he is taking them along for the ride.  They’re the entourage.  It’s paced like television.  You actually feel an ad break could be inserted here and there.  I guess the enjoyment of this would depend on whether you like the characters from the television series.  I’ve never seen it and I don’t know them and going by this film I’m not much inspired to get acquainted.  
There are some funny scenes. There are also a lot of cameos.  Seemingly just for the hell of it or the fun of it - big name stars giving the entourage the finger or telling them to F… off.  (That’s what I would have said to them too).
The story is about the movie star Bro wanting to direct his own movie - Hyde - and his manager freaking out about it then being vehemently supportive of it.
Then we have the producers who wouldn’t know a good film from a hole in the ground but think their “contribution” will increase the likelihood of financial returns.  But the money men are right about one thing - the problem with Hyde is that you have  smart-arse young actors who are sickeningly confident about their own "charm" and have far too much latitude and money.  How ironic.
