What a dirty little film! - (and it is dirty and at 89 minutes it is quite little for a feature film).

It’s a cartoon. Set in a supermarket all the produce on the shelf believe that one day they will be selected from the shelf by one of the Gods (people pushing shopping trolleys) and be taken to the next life and eternal glory.

(Ha! Imagine if people thought like that.)

The sausage and the bun are the main characters and they just can’t wait to be put together by the Gods in the great beyond. All the food is sex-mad - in fact that’s all they seem to think about - in very explicit language.

One day a jar of honey mustard is returned to the store and put back on the shelf.  But now he has seen the reality of “the other side”.

Panic and fear ensues “There is no God!” “There is no heaven”.

It’d be hard not to enjoy this very funny and clever parabolic film.
