The Courier * * * ½

British thriller and a true story - apparently.
I mean.... do I look like a spy?!

In the sixties the CIA asked the Brits to help them get a Russian out of Russia as he was ready to defect and he knew a whole lot about the missiles that the Russians were building in Cuba. The Brits agreed but they knew that the Ruskies would be on the alert.  So they sent a man who had nothing to do with espionage and no background of political activity. They recruited a business man. 

It was a brave thing for him to do, because things could easily go wrong..... and they did.
