Honest Thief * * ½

You were warned.

Honest Thief is a good title for this movie. All the reviews are out there and the scenario is clear - it stars good old Liam doing his tough guy thing again but all on a cheaper level with an unimaginative badly written script.  

        Tom is a reformed crook who has now met the girl of his dreams but he want's to pay for his sins first, so nothing will be hanging over him as he enters this new stage of his life. However there are a couple of crooked cops who look at his desire to surrender and confess as an ideal opportunity to exploit him.  Tom doesn't like that.  

       So if you feel short of a few dollars with no sense of satisfaction when you come out, you've only yourself to blame. It was honest about itself and what it would deliver before you even had your ticket-stub ripped.
