My Generation * * * *

Let me tell you something...
This is a documentary that came to Melbourne with the British Film Festival.  If you fly Qantas you might have already seen it.  It's been on their play list for months.
Michael Caine narrates and a fair bit of it is about him: In fact it almost serves as a documentary on his early career (but what's wrong with that?).  Caine is always a pleasure to watch.
My Generation deals with the sixties - Beatles, Stones, Who, Kinks, Donovan, David Bailey, Jean Shrimpton, Twiggy et al.
Most of the footage is historic rather than talking heads of people today which serves it well as it gives it purity, allowing us to make up our own minds on the period and what came out of it.
