I don't think it would have taken the lead actor too long to learn his lines in this film. As I recall it, he speaks one sentence.
But he is a bit of a loner and he really doesn't have much to say to anyone, plus he's rather busy killing, and killing, and killing, and killing. But it's all in good fun and you really won't have much sympathy for his victims.

You want my gold? I'll give you a lot more than that. |
Set in the last months of WWII, a Finnish Commander has already quit the army and the war and has gone off to the Lapland to prospect for gold. Meanwhile, the Nazi's have been told they can no longer hold Finland and to retreat. One such unit have a scorched earth policy of retreat which gives them an excuse to kill everyone, plunder and burn down villages and capture women to be used for sexual exploitation.
It is unfortunate for them that they come across our prospector and even more unfortunate for them that they decide to steal his considerable haul of gold. He stabs Nazi's in the head he blows them up he cuts their throats, he runs them over he burns them alive, he picks up land mines and throws them at them, he hangs them. He really does have a lot of fun, and you can't help but cheer him along.
It's a bit like John Wick and the first Rambo film (First Blood). His ability to keep coming at them and overcome every beating he receives, and dodge every bullet fired at him, or pull it out of his scarred body like a small inconvenience, survive beatings, plane crashes, and everything else is impossible, but who cares? It's a fun ninety minutes. His faithful dog is a very brave little fella too.
