Bodies Bodies Bodies * * * ½

Um...wasn't there five of us a minute ago?

The situation has been in a hundred films and plays.  Several people in an isolated house, getting knocked off one by one.  Of course it's night and of course the it's storming outside and of course the power and the lights get knocked out.

With a film like this it's not about the scenario, it's about the way you handle it and Bodies etc... handles it quite well.  It's got a lot of humor and a fair bit of social commentary in regard to the values of some young people.  Bodies all over the place, a half demented girl swinging a loaded gun around and another girl wants to argue about the value of her podcast.

It's pretty slick and very youth orientated. I found the music insufferable but I'm sure the kids would love it.  When I went the audience was mostly young. (There were a couple of other people about my age but they walked out).  Some scenes made me laugh out loud, but I seemed to be the only one. Conversely, the audience would laugh at some lines that went right over my head.

In the end I don't know who dunnit.  When it all wrapped up it didn't matter.  The thing that really mattered was vocalised by one of the characters when she recovered her mobile phone - "I've got Wi-Fi".
