Girls Trip * *
So after telling you how awful I thought Rough Night was, you’d be right to ask why did I go and see this. Probably because I’m foolish enough to believe other people who have been saying it’s a good comedy.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha ! (Groan) |
No it’s not!
It’s been said that it takes gross-out and shock humour to a whole new level. Who ever thinks that must have missed out on seeing Grimsby, or even Train Wreck, both of which make this look tame.
Four black girls (women in their late thirties) go on a weekend away. Same crappy tired concept, just different colour actors.
One of the four girls has had spectacular success by writing some garbage book with her husband about how you can “have it all”, but their marriage is a sham. She has to come to this realisation - and does - within the context of the film… yawn.
With their constant indignation and advice about infidelity, whilst wanting to break a thousand other moral codes, I found the whole lot of them insufferable and worse still not particularly funny: naked men and peeing on people aside.
