Maggie's Plan * * * *

Flip likes us.  That was my plan.

This is a funny and endearing film: Single girl Maggie (Greta Gerwig) wants to have a baby.  A sperm donor is needed.  But that's not exactly what Maggie's “Plan” is.  For at the time she is ready to artificially inseminate she falls in love with a married man.

But after a while things aren’t so rosy.  Maggie decides she want’s to put her boyfriend back where she got him from. Back with his ex-wife who Maggie has actually grown to like.

Maggie's Plan is a contemporary gentle comedy set in New York.  
 Although it has it’s own voice, if you like Woody Allen you’ll most likely warm to this.  I certainly did.
