Wild Tales * * * * *

I’m not going to tell you the outcomes, but the synopsis of each might be delicious enough to prompt you to go see this very worthy film.
A planeload of passengers are surprised to learn that they all know the same man. They talk about how they have each had a falling-out with him in some way. Then they find out something else about him...
A waitress in a lonely cafe has one customer for the night. She recognises him as a man who destroyed her family when she was a child.
A man driving on a lonely country road gives another driver the finger, but a few kilometers up the road he gets a flat tyre. Then along comes the man he insulted. He pulls up.
A demolition expert gets a parking ticket and a tow-away. He swears he was legally parked. The authorities won’t listen.
A young man from a wealthy family has a serious motor accident and flees the scene. The family conspire to cover for him.
A bride on her wedding night learns something of her new husband. She commences her revenge in front of all the guests.
This is a very funny film which actually gives us a lot to think about when it comes to irony, coincidence and poetic justice: as well as that item we are all guilty of at times - stupid behaviour.
It’s written and directed by Damian Szifron who I know so little about I can tell you no more than his name; but if this is to be the ongoing quality of his work I’m sure we'll be hearing a lot more from him. Wild Tales is brilliant.

If the move is as compelling as your review, it will be well worth the admittance price. Nice one, love your work, keep it up!
